Therapy for Teens — Especially Neurodivergent Youth

Adolescence is full of complexity, and for neurodivergent teens, it can come with even more layers, such as sensory overload, social pressure, identity exploration, and big emotions that sometimes feel impossible to name. I offer a safe and affirming space where teens can show up exactly as they are - no masking required.

Through creative self-expression, collaborative curiosity, and trauma-informed care, I help teens make sense of their inner world and life experiences. Whether they’re navigating anxiety, burnout, gender or sexual identity, grief, relationships, or simply trying to understand themselves better, our work is centered around their voice, their pace, and their truth.

Together, we explore emotions, values, goals, and identities in ways that feel accessible and empowering. I use art, storytelling, somatic tools, and other creative modalities to help teens build self-trust and resilience while embracing their strengths, sensitivities, and sense of self.

This is a space for self-discovery, unmasking, and becoming.

I welcome neurodivergent and neurotypical teens of all kinds, including autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, gifted, LGBTQIA+, and multiply marginalized youth with warmth, intention, and deep respect.

WA Laws

The age of consent for psychotherapy is 13 years old. This means teens are considered “in charge” of their treatment. They determine how much information, if any, and how involved the parents/guardians can be in their treatment. Teens’ sessions are fully covered under confidentiality laws, and we don’t provide regular updates on their progress unless the teen wants us to. Please note that risky behaviors are covered under confidentiality and may not be disclosed unless there is a concern of imminent risk or danger to self or others.

Therapy for Young Adults

Young adulthood is a time of enormous change: identity, relationships, work, school, independence, and figuring out who you are outside of everyone else’s expectations. It can also be a time when anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma history, neurodivergence, or life transitions start to feel louder and harder to manage.

I offer affirming, strengths-based therapy for young adults who want support making sense of this season of life, building practical skills, and learning how to trust themselves. Together, we focus on clarity, self-understanding, emotional regulation, and creating a life that feels more aligned, manageable, and authentic.
